Oil painting commissioned by the owners, quite a challenge as I had to paint the horse on a different race track to the one in the photo that was supplied!
Noble Bijou (USA)
My first bronze sculpture, New Zealand & Australian Champion Sire, Noble Bijou (USA), portrayed in a typical pose. The sculpture was created in closed consultation with Brian Anderton a year or so after the great stallions' death. It was issued in a Limited Edition, one of which is presented annually as a trophy for the White Robe Lodge Stakes, another for the Otago Horse of the Year, & sold in 4 countries.
