Red Deer stag
I photographed this stag at Deer Park Heights in Queenstown,
a truly wonderful place to visit, & not only for the opportunity
to get up close to the animals, but to photograph the brilliant
views! I was so disapointed to hear that it was closed to the
public soon after we visited in April 2009.

This Kea tried to eat my sisters' car. This was because
we obeyed the warning signs & refused to feed it. We
then came to the conclusion that it is better to give
them a few meusli bars than to have all the rubber
stripped from your vehicle... ;-)
