"Patrioraptor"
This fossil sculpture is carved from Oamaru lime stone & is fully carved around the sides with shell fossils, some of which are actual fossils she has found in the stone. Renee's interest in dinosaurs started very early on, & I still have drawings of "T-rex"s that she drew for me at the age of two! They have remained top of the list of her obsessions, of which there are many, lol. She will soon be studying paleantology at Otago Uni.
This unique sculpture is to be mounted on a Rimu plinth & is designed to grace a coffee table or similar lower surface where the top & all sides may be viewed.
